Machine Learning with Google

Google offers a fantastic 'Teachable Machine'. It is a web based tool which allows educators, students, innovators and inventors to explore machine learning. This free software provides the opportunity to create a machine learning model which can be exported and added to your projects without the need for complex coding and algorithms.
Privacy and Safety
From my readings so far, it looks as though all the data in which you create saves into your Google Drive. Although, it is still important that you research this yourself and make sure this is in line with your school policies and procedures before using the software. Using the Software
Version One of the software takes you through a very informative tutorial to get you started. It takes you through step by step how to create your 'teachable machine'. If you are worried about using your web cam you could always try using a cartoon image rather than a persons face. Check out this tutorial here: https://teachablemachine.withgoogle.com/v1/
This artificial intelligence experiment takes you through three steps.
Step 1: Gathering your data - Depending upon what type of machine you want to create, your shared data could be a sound project, image project or pose project.
Step 2: Train your model - During this step, you train your machine based on the data you have uploaded. During this process you differentiate between the data samples showing the machine what you want it to identify or define.
Step 3: Export - You now have a choice to save your project in your Google Drive or export it to other websites, apps and more!
Check out this YouTube Playlist containing a range of tutorials explaining each step. https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJfHZtseuscuTQfodmFnbZ3rBgCWsRT9t
Here is a machine which was created to identify the ripness of fruit.
